Olympics Sponsorship

Coca-Cola began supporting the Olympic Games in 1928, therefore they are the longest running supporter of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. The Olympics have had the continued support of Coca-Cola since this year; they also began supporting the Olympic Torch Relay in 1992. Coca-Cola believe the Olympic Movement brings all the people of the world together, in every country on the planet.

The partnership of Coca-Cola and the Olympic Games have mutual benefits for one another; the Games gain awareness from places of the world they cannot reach by including their brand into Coca-Cola's immense marketing campaigns and visa-versa. The Olympics consequently ensure their long-term financial future and gain useful connections to the large corporation. Coca-Cola will provide the beverages at the Olympic venues, thus gaining exposure of their brand to the many different nationalities who come to watch the Games. Also their partnership allows them to use the Olympic brand within their advertising, therefore incorporating the enthusiasm and reputation surrounding the Games into their own branding.
